Terms of Sale

1. Who is selling

Purchases are processed by Polar, acting as merchant of record — Polar is the seller of record for every transaction and handles payment, applicable VAT/sales tax, receipts, and invoices. Polar's own terms apply to checkout in addition to these terms.

2. Plans and prices

• Free — $0. The full format painter, 10 applies a month. No purchase required.
• Pro Annual — $5.99/year, auto-renewing subscription.
• Pro Lifetime — $14.99, one-time payment.
• Teams — $3.99 per user per year, minimum 5 seats, billed annually.

Prices are in USD; promotional prices apply as shown on the pricing page. Tax may be added or included depending on your country.

3. Your license

• Pro is a personal license for one person, usable on up to 5 devices at a time. Don't share or resell your license key.
• Teams is licensed per seat: one organization key covers up to the seats purchased. If usage exceeds seats, nothing is blocked — we'll contact your billing contact to true up.

4. What "lifetime" means

One payment for the Pro features of this product — Format Painter for Gmail — for the lifetime of the product, including its updates. Not a subscription, and not a license to separate future products.

5. Refunds

Every purchase has a 14-day no-questions refund to the original payment method. Email support@formatpainter.app or use the link in your receipt email.

6. Cancellation

Cancel an annual or Teams subscription any time via the link in your receipt email. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period, you won't be charged again, and the free plan keeps working.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

The extension is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the extension or these terms is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits consumer rights that your country's law grants and that cannot be waived.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence applies instead.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the version on this page applies, and the effective date changes when it does. Changes don't retroactively affect purchases already made.
